This beautiful girl is fully housebroken, has all of her vaccinations up to date, including rabies, de-wormed, and flea and tick treatment. I have all of her vet paperwork. She is an English Mastiff / Cane Corso cross and came from a reputable breeder, I was able to meet both her purebred parents. She is not spayed; the vet suggested waiting until after her first cycle to allow hormones to do their job. (She just finished her first cycle in September but has never been left outdoors unattended). She is essentially a house dog who loves being near her human. To be clear, I am not a person who got a cute puppy then decided to get rid of it when it became too large. I was fully aware I was getting a giant breed, I did my research and she is well worth the effort. What I was not prepared for, is the sheer strength and high energy of a giant puppy. Her goofy playfulness is fun, but has presented a challenge that I am not able to manage. I am 65 and while I am sturdy and certainly not frail, she has knocked me down several times simply because she wants to play but recently a new problem has arisen: she is reactive to noise and machinery despite have lived next to a working construction area since I brought her home at 2 months. This fear is getting worse, rather than better. It's going to break my heart to let her go and it was not an easy decision, but she needs someone who is physically strong enough to control her when she panics and wants to run. She is a great dog, very friendly and cuddly and loves her walks but she is now powerful enough that when startled, I can't stop her. I end up on the ground and she takes off which is not safe for either of us. She has no food aggression but is very food motivated, smart and learns quickly. She will sit and wait when I get her meals ready and only start eating after I tell her okay. She is gentle when given treats and she walks well on leash (unless frightened) and her house training was very easy. I also made sure to get her accustomed early to baths, brushing, nail trimming and socializing. She is an incredible dog, she is loved and she needs someone who can keep up with a high energy, powerful, giant breed. She needs a lot of space, a quiet area and definitely must have a fenced in yard. I strongly suggest she not go to a home where there are small children because she will knock them down. I am five feet tall and weigh 140 pounds and she knocks me down quite easily, not with malice of course, she's just being her own silly self. She will come with her leash, collars, rabies tag, dog food, all her vet paperwork, her toys and nail clippers. She doesn't have a crate for travel so you will need a way to safely transport her as she still gets nervous in the car. If you have any questions, feel free to email me and I will answer honestly and as quickly as possible.
