This lovable girl is fully housebroken, has all of her vaccinations up to date, including rabies, de-wormed, and flea and tick treatment. I have all of her vet paperwork. She is half English Mastiff and half Cane Corso and came from a reputable breeder, I was able to meet both her purebred parents. She is not spayed; the vet suggests waiting until after her first cycle to allow hormones to do their job. To be clear, I am not a person who got a cute puppy then decided to get rid of it when it became too large. I was fully aware I was getting a giant breed, I did my research and I'm retired so I am home full-time. What I was not prepared for, is the sheer strength and high energy, while still a puppy. Her goofy playfulness is fun, but has presented a challenge that I am not able to manage. I am 65 and while I am sturdy and certainly not frail, she has knocked me down several times, causing injuries, scrapes and bruises. It's going to break my heart to let her go and it was not an easy decision, but she needs someone who is physically strong enough to control her and whose authority she is more likely to respect. This is a breed that needs strong leadership so I am also doing this for her because, in the right hands, she is going to be a great dog. She is all kinds of friendly and cuddly and loves her walks but I think she would benefit from someone who likes to run or hike and has an energy level and strength that matches hers. She is sweet and loves to play, but it usually ends with her zooming around and then pouncing on me with all her strength. She does not have food aggression but is very food motivated and smart. She will sit and wait when I get her food ready and only start eating after I tell her okay, she walks well on leash and her house training was very easy. She has been with me since two months old, and I also have her accustomed to baths, nail trimming and socializing from very early on. She is an incredible dog, she is loved and she needs to be raised by someone who can keep up with a high energy giant breed. She needs a lot of space and definitely must have a fenced in yard and I strongly suggest she not go to a home where there are small children because she will knock them down. I am five feet tall and weigh 140 pounds and she knocks me down like a feather. She will come with her leash, collars, including rabies tag, dog food, all her vet paperwork, her toys, nail clippers and dish. I have lowered the price because her large wire crate is no longer included, as she has demolished it. I only leave her in there when I go out to run errands but she was having none of that. If you have any questions, feel free to email me and I will answer as quickly as possible.
